What We Don’t Like
- The blade sits about 4 inches from the front edge of the table, which is roughly half the distance you get on competing saws. This means less table support in front of the blade, so larger workpieces may need extra downward pressure to stay flat against the surface.
- Thin blades — like #2/0 sizes used for cutting thin plywood — can be difficult to grip in the upper holder. You can adjust the setscrew to accommodate smaller blades, but doing so makes it harder to use larger blades without readjusting.
- The blade holding system does not allow top-feeding, which may be a dealbreaker for scrollers who rely on that technique for interior cuts.
